Confidence and Visibility Looks Different for All of Us (and That’s Okay)

Let’s be honest: when we hear the word visibility, it can bring up all sorts of baggage.

For some, it’s exciting — a chance to finally be seen. For others, it feels terrifying — like the pressure to shout louder, look polished, or keep up with people who seem to be doing it effortlessly.

Here’s what I want to say loud and clear:

👉 Visibility doesn’t have to look one specific way.

👉 Confidence doesn’t have to be loud.

👉 And showing up doesn’t have to feel fake.

So… what does visibility actually mean?

In the world of women entrepreneurs, visibility is simply:

✨ Letting people know you exist

✨ Helping them understand what you offer

✨ Showing the human behind the business

That might be:

  • Sharing a personal story on your socials

  • Updating your website with a new headshot

  • Saying “yes” to speaking at a local event

  • Or simply… showing up consistently even when you feel wobbly

Visibility is about connection — not performance.

Confidence is built in the doing

One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is that we’ll show up when we feel ready. But the truth? Confidence grows when we take action — not before.

You don’t suddenly wake up one day and feel 100% brave.Confidence is built in the small decisions:

  • Pressing ‘publish’ on the post you’re nervous about

  • Saying your prices out loud without apologising

  • Showing your face on camera, even if you’re still figuring it out

These small wins stack up. They become proof that you can show up. And that visibility? That starts to feel a whole lot easier.

3 Ways to Start Showing Up With Confidence

If you're stuck in overthinking or "I'll do it when..." mode, here are some small but mighty steps you can take this week:

1. Choose one platform to show up consistently

You don’t need to be everywhere. Pick the one where your audience hangs out and make a plan to show up once, twice, or three times this week — whatever’s realistic. Done is better than perfect.

2. Use your face

People buy from people. Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes story, a photo of you working, or just a smiley selfie — your audience wants to see you.

3. Share one helpful thing

What’s something your ideal client needs to hear right now? A quick tip, a myth-busting truth, or a piece of encouragement goes a long way — and positions you as someone who knows their stuff.

What I want you to remember…

You don’t need to become someone you’re not in order to be visible. You don’t need to be loud, extroverted or perfect.

You do need to be:

💛 Brave enough to take the first step

💛 Willing to show up as yourself

💛 Ready to trust that your voice and your business deserve to be seen

Whether you’re gearing up for a big September launch or simply wanting to build more momentum, start with visibility that feels aligned, sustainable, and real.

Because the world needs more women entrepreneurs showing up with courage, honesty, and a little sass thrown in.

Am I right ladies?
