Brand Photography for Sorrell Pinder
Sorell Pinder

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Meet Sorrel – a compassionate, down-to-earth coach who helps women and couples untangle the mess of trauma, anxiety, and disconnection so they can feel calm, connected, and confident again.
Sorrel knew her photos weren’t doing her justice. They didn’t reflect the warmth, wisdom or experience she brings to her work – and they certainly weren’t helping potential clients feel that instant sense of trust and connection she’s known for - something that's vital to put across.
THE BRIEF
Sorrel needed fresh, professional imagery to support her website, social media, and a series of upcoming promotions and public appearances.
It was important that the photos reflected her warmth and approachability, while also conveying the quiet authority and deep compassion that come from her lived experience as a trauma-informed coach.
She wanted to feel like herself in the images – down to earth, trustworthy, and real – but also professional and confident.
Like many of my clients, Sorrel was a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but also excited to finally be seen.
THE SOLUTION
We designed a calm, relaxed shoot that felt true to Sorrel and her work.
We chose real-life settings that her clients would recognise from video calls, helping to build trust and familiarity.
To show her personality and roots, we used local outdoor locations that hold meaning for her. And in a beautiful personal touch, Sorrel’s real-life partner joined us for part of the shoot – offering a glimpse into the kind of genuine, connected relationship she helps others create.
THE RESULTS
Sorrel now has a gallery of thoughtful, natural images that beautifully reflect who she is – warm, grounded, and quietly confident.
The photos capture both her professional expertise and her deeply human, relatable approach. More than that, the shoot gave Sorrel a renewed sense of confidence in how she presents herself across her website, social media, and upcoming promotions.
She was absolutely thrilled with the final images, commenting that she was pleasantly surprised with how amazing she looks – a lovely reminder that when you feel like yourself in front of the camera, it really shows.
