It was a gloriously sunny day when I met Samantha, Ian, Neo and Casper for a relaxed lifestyle shoot in one of their favourite family places.
Samantha had won the family photoshoot in a raffle the previous year, but we all had to be patient and wait until Coronavirus restrictions eased before we could finally hold the session in April.
Woodland Waters is a fishing lake surrounded by woodland, grassed areas, a large camping and caravanning site and Woody's, a family and pet friendly bar & grill. With so much choice, we planned a family friendly walk in the woods to start our session and to keep their energetic boys amused.
We wandered through the woods to capture some lovely memories of the family playing and spending time together which is what these family photoshoots are all about!
I always aim to capture a selection of images that you'll be happy to gather together in an album for your coffee table, as well as some stand out images that are worthy of a canvas and a place on your wall. I love to capture your interaction, without the cheesy posing for these portraits and Samantha tells me that her images perfectly mirror the personalities of her family, which always makes me smile.
One thing I also like to do is capture parents as a couple. It's rare when you have a busy family schedule that you make time for yourselves, and it's unlikely that you'll prioritise yourselves for a couple photoshoot! So I like to take the opportunity to snap you some memories that are just for you as well.
